Shingles and the nerve pain that can follow (PHN) - is there any real hope for improvement? Yes! Acupuncture works and there are medical studies that prove it. I came to Gina a month after being diagnosed with shingles. The pain meds from doctors had not lessened my pain at all and they came with unwanted side effects. I could not stand for anything to touch my skin where the pain was - not my clothes, not the bedding, not even a loose hair that had fallen out of my head. They all caused intense pain. When I first started treatments here, the pain was horrible. Now at the end of my treatments, I feel like 98% of my pain is gone (and all I did was lie on a soft, warm table and almost dose off!). If you’ve got PHN, you’ve got to come see Gina. Don’t wait because that can make your recovery take longer and be more expensive. Gina is genuine and remembers conversations she has with you and will ask about those things/people at your next visit. Gina is encouraging and always asking how you're doing so she can better decide how to treat you. Everyone here calls you by name, too. You'll quickly feel like you're among friends!

Gina has been treating my migraines for several years and they have improved greatly. The frequency of my migraines has diminished and continues to do so. I now go monthly for a maintenance session. Gina and her staff are wonderful. Trying acupuncture and being treated by Gina was the best decision I made.

Gina is simply wonderful. She helped me manage migraines and stress through a difficult period of time and I could feel the effects of my sessions immediately. Her space is gorgeous and calming and I always look forward to spending an hour of zen there!

I have been going to Acupuncture of Columbia for several months and have seen a difference in my body. Today I went in with a terrible migraine and Gina was so kind and caring. She worked her magic with her placement of the needles and I walked out feeling like a new woman! The migraine was gone and I couldn’t be more grateful!

Worked like a miracle on my headaches and migraine's. I have had 2 or 3 breakthrough migraines in 6 months since I started treatment. Before this- I’d have at least 1 headache a week and at least 2 or 3 migraines a month. Gina and her staff are so friendly, professional and make you feel comfortable and relaxed.

This team truly changed my life!!! I have a decades long history of migraines & cluster headaches and in my first trimester, I was taken off all my preventative medications and started having severe, debilitating cluster headaches every night, consistently, every hour, ending up in the ER > I was approved to take up to 4000mg of Tylenol daily from my OB and was eating this medicine like candy to only to get an hours worth of relief until the next one came back. I was at the point where only hot showers were helping the pain and taking 6-8 of them a night, crying myself to sleep most times. I felt like I had zero options in this pregnancy and couldn't get out of the spiral. I honestly don't know why I waited all my life to try out acupuncture > I blame my deep fear of needles and syringes but this "pain" was absolutely nothing; I even started going by myself to see Gina to do my sessions (!!!) It took about 2-2.5 weeks for my migraines to completely go away with acupuncture and OMM with Dr. Butler but they definitely got easier & less frequent before disappearing completely. This is the secret sauce I had been longing for, it healed me in more ways than one. OMM with Dr. Butler is nothing like traditional chiropractor care and thank God; the way he made significant changes to my neck & jaw pain without having to crack and pop me is everything; it was gentle and intentional and I felt immediate relief.... and it was long lasting. I cannot forget to mention how the entire team was so warm and kind, from the front desk, to Sam always making sure I was comfy and cozy before my session, to Gina always rooting for me and believing in what she does, all the certainty, love & kindness made it even easier to heal. I was *looking forward* to my appointments and I completed my series and still migraine/cluster free a month later. I will continue to see her and will rely on this holistic approach to heal any pain I have in the future. Thank you for everything guys 🖤

I decided to seek out acupuncture to treat a concussion after having pretty bad migraines and vestibular issues. Within a month of acupuncture and traditional pt, I’ve been cleared by my concussion doc and have no symptoms. However, what has really made me fall in love with Acupuncture of Columbia has been its affect on my mental health. I’ve had anxiety for years and have seen the most dramatic reduction in my anxiety after receiving acupuncture than any other treatment. The team is incredibly welcoming and Gina’s energy is so positive and bright; I came away from my initial consultation feeling excited and as though I had made a friend.
