I’m a 37 year old woman and spent about nine months trying to get pregnant. I saw a reproductive endocrinologist in August 2024 and even though our test results came back relatively normal, the doctor gave us some rather dire statistics about our likelihood of conceiving naturally and encouraged us to start pursuing IUI. Feeling pressured and frustrated by the coldness of western medicine I sought out acupuncture and I’ll be forever thankful that I did. From my first meeting with Gina, she offered everything that had previously been lacking about my fertility care: questions, excitement, and most importantly warmth. Gina put together a three month holistic treatment plan designed not only to increase my likelihood of getting pregnant but to keep me feeling like a human and a woman through what can be the relatively cold process of a fertility journey. Every session started with, “how are you feeling today?” And the follow up to that question was almost always “I can fix that”. And in the end, we didn’t need the three-month treatment program. Around 6 weeks after I started seeing Gina, I became pregnant with my first child. As of this week, I just finished my first trimester and am expecting a healthy baby in August. Gina’s care didn’t stop with my pregnancy though, she got me through the survival trimester: treating the worry of the unknown, the intense fatigue and the constant nausea. I am an acupuncture success story as far as my pregnancy goes but I’m thankful to Gina and the whole team at Columbia Integrative (including the amazing Sam!) for providing comfort, warmth and relaxation in what could have been the most stressful time in my life!

Love this place so much! Relaxing environment, friendly staff. It’s so convenient being able to see Gina Butler for acupuncture and then Dr. Butler right after, all in the same location. I’ve seen Gina for about 8 years, and acupuncture has helped keep my back and hip pain manageable, when it previously was affecting every aspect of my day and keeping me from normal activities. Additionally, Dr. Butler’s expertise and skill with osteopathic manipulation has been extremely helpful. Could not recommend the combination of these two modalities more. I saw Gina for an issue with my ears having fluid and causing me great pain during flights and discomfort afterwards. Within a few acupuncture sessions and taking the herbs she customized for me, I felt significant improvement. I just returned home from a trip and had no ear pain or discomfort on the flight which was a huge relief for me. Everyone at the office is welcoming and cares about you as a patient.
