After graduating with a degree in ceramics, Marisa moved from New York to Missouri to pursue an artist-in-residency program at a local community studio, teaching pottery classes for two years before finding her way to the team at Acupuncture of Columbia. If talking to Marisa has ever left you feeling like you just got a free therapy session, you’d be right! Marisa is on her way to getting her Master’s in counseling at Stephens College. She plans to use her undergrad in ceramics and Master’s in counseling to be an art therapist. She has three cats (Moose, Gene, and Donnie) and in her spare time enjoys pottery and painting.
